DENVER COLORADO, Robischon Gallery 1740 Wazee St. – This delightful and challenging show reminds us just how broadly defined the terms “small” and “sculpture” can be. Materials used include wood, steel, copper, rice paper, stoneware, even a painted football.

            Artists from throughout the country submitted works at the gallery’s invitation.

            While some pieces suffer from cuteness, many are imaginative and well crafted….

            Ed Haddaway offers several painted steel pieces that twist and curve in such odd angles they could be prototypes for amusement-park rides. These pieces make you very happy -- “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” should purchase a couple….
