Ok this did not come from my publisher but rather from a company, REDACTED TO PREVENT LAWSUITS that I use which provides the inner workings of my website: EdHaddaway.com. As a courtesy they also host this blog ......EdHaddawayRedux.com gratis.
I now believe my dearly departed parents have gone to work for this company.
REDACTED TO PREVENT LAWSUITS sent me the following:

This email is in regards to the FREE WordPress blog that we offer our REDACTED TO PREVENT LAWSUITS clients as part of a bulk-plan of blog accounts we purchase through Flywheel.

Currently that custom domain is not displaying any recent WordPress blog posts and your site is not linking to your blog. Your last update to the blog appears to have been in August of 2016.
We are deleting/closing all bulk-plan REDACTED TO PREVENT LAWSUITS blogs that have not received updates within the last 12 months. This notice is a courtesy, to inform you that we will be removing WordPress blogs from Flywheel's hosting server to free up space, as you do not seem to be using the blog any longer.

I think my parents have started working for REDACTED TO PREVENT LAWSUITS because they used to say much the same thing about my homework.
I often received notices such as this:
Dear Ed,
This notice is a courtesy, to inform you that we will be removing you from the Haddaway Family to free up space, as you do not seem to be doing your homework any longer. The last homework you completed was on September 23, 1959. Please rectify this situation or you will be terminated .

It is comforting to know that my dearly departed parents are still around.
